Oh my.. I haven't written anything in two months?! Time has truly flown by!! Lets see here's new with Madyson.
1. Well most importantly.. she on the move. It seemed like it didn't take Madyson long to start crawling. She mastered it within a few days it seemed, of course at first it was a slow craw... now she's got some speed. She gets into everything. Things you wouldn't dream of her getting into, and she proves us wrong and goes straight for it... cords, dog toys, wires, anything and everything.
2. Toys - Honestly I have no idea why anyone buys her toys, she much rather play with plastic cups, spoons, and boxes. Those are her love for toys! She does have one toy that she doesn't really play with but whenever she gets upset about anything I can hand her this toy and she instantly smiles. Its a dog from leapster named violet. You can hook it up to the computer and update it as she grows. It calls her name personally and sings her a song that spells her name to her! She hears her name from the toy and instantly is a happy baby again!
3. Pool - Madyson LOVES the pool. Which didn't surprise me one bit. She loved the bathtub so why wouldn't she like the pool?? She loves water without a doubt! Shes the only baby that will put her face in the water and not cry when she comes out! Now, of course that worries me however it makes me laugh as well. Shes definitely gonna be a little fish once she learns how to swim!
4. Food - Not much into baby food anymore. Its like pulling teeth to get her to eat a whole thing of baby food anymore. She much rather have food that she can feed to herself. Ex: Cheerios, bite size foods, gold fish and etc... I only worry she isn't getting enough to fill her up so I'm constantly trying to sneak baby food in while she's distracted haha... She only has 2 teeth right now. One seems to be coming in its one of her side top teeth but its taking sometime to come on through. Hopefully soon it'll make its appearance.
5. Tricks - Madyson has now learned how some funny noises she can make. She sometimes sounds like she's chewing gum. She smacks her lips and its quite cute. Another noise she has mastered is rubbing her hands or objects in front of her mouth making a ... how do I explain this without making the noise.. haha.. the same noise if you had your index finger running over your lips up and down. haha I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. Another trick she likes is giving high fives. Mark started her on that one.
6. Drinks - She used to be a fan of apple juice however she got a cold a while back and it seems she has lost the appetite for it. One thing she likes for sure is sweet tea! Once again Mark got her on that kick! We don't give her alot of it but when she does get it, she seems to chug the whole thing down in one sitting. i have now started to give her a grape juice this week and she seems to appreciate that more so we will see how that goes...
7. Sleeping - Madyson has always blessed me with her easy sleeping skills. She has slept through the night since she was about 3 months old. I have been very blessed. Easy to lay down at night time too, when she is ready, she is READY. Of course now that I said this, tonight she won't be so easy, just you watch....
Over all we are very blessed to have Madyson. She is a happy baby always giggling and smiling, and mostly always a delight to be around. :D
Other news.... Mark and I are expecting our second child, and yes.. we know what causes that no worries. I am currently 19 weeks and we actually find out the sex of this baby tomorrow! We know its going to be a struggle with having two babies so close in age, but I know that Madyson and her sibling will be as close as ever when they grow up. All babies are such a blessing from God that we except this with open arms! Lets just hope our house will grow to accommodate however many children God wants us to have. :D

Day 21
Day 21: A picture of something you wish you could forget.
This is actually something difficult to answer. When I first read it, I thought of numerous things... like my first heart break... a fight with someone... and etc.. but honestly, I don't want to forget those moments.. why? I guess because its taught me things and has made me the person I am today. God gives us these obstacles in life for a reason.
I mean sure my first REAL heart break was tough. But it helped me grow stronger in my faith.
I truly believe everything happens for a reason... So I don't really have any memories I wish I could forget! ..... but for the sake of keeping up with showing a picture of each day.... Here goes..
If I had to pick one memory I wish I could forget it would probably be.... *drum roll please*
I know this seems like a odd combination. However, when I was working at Play it Again Sports I asked off for the weekend to move my stuff from an apartment to Angela's house. We "camped" out on their back yard, if you look hard enough you can see the commensary behind us because Angela lived on base. Well on Monday when I returned to work one of my employees told my boss that I didn't move and instead I went on a camping trip. My boss told me she was about to fire me. I was soooo livid because that is not what happened at all and still to this day I get irritated at the thought of a co-worker trying to get me fired like that! I try not to hold grudges but that one still to this day bugs me lol
Day 20
Day 20: A picture of somewhere you'd love to travel
Hawaii
Austrailia
The two places I'd love to go visit and travel to one day would be Australia and Hawaii! Australia mostly because I'd love to go see the wild life... I just have this mental image at how beautiful it is!
I would love to go to Hawaii mostly for Mark. That is the one place he wanted to go for our honeymoon but its so expensive to go there. I know its beautiful too because our aunt went and she came back with the prettiest pictures! I know it would be a trip to remember!
Maybe one day we will be able to go to one of these places. I have a passport I'd love to add Australia to!

Day 18
Day 18: A picture of your biggest insecurity.
No worries.. this is not my stomach. I find it funny that they want me to put a picture up of my biggest insecurity... hello! Its my insecurity why would I post a pic of it up for everyone to see! lol but I guess since I have a 6 month old, like all mother's I'm insecure about my belly. The other day I was holding Madyson and I walked infront of the mirror and I thought, "Holy Cow.. I look pregnant" lol
Now I was truly blessed with loosing most of my baby weight so quickly, however I do know that I am extremely lazy when it comes to exercising so I know for a fact I have more to loose! I'm hoping that when the weather gets nicer, Mark and I will ride bikes together and go walking more... Thats our goal anyways. Madyson loves going for rides in her stroller and by the time we are able to ride bikes I think Madyson would love it if we buy her a seat for Mark's bike as well!
So here's for future exercising! lol

Day 17
Day 17: A picture of something that has made a huge impact on your life recently.
I know I know.. another blog about Madyson.. but seriously.. have you read the title??? lol I mean there's no way around not putting Madyson in this blog title! So here is a picture I took of Madyson this morning! Its amazing at how much she's grown! She is so curious! She probably spent a good 10-15 minutes in that box so excited! She made sure to look at every corner and just take it all in! She is at such a fun age!
More on Madyson is that she's eating baby food. I have been making my own baby food recently and its so funny seeing her try a new food. Yesterday I made her some peaches and her face was quite comical! It was as if the peaches were sour to her. lol I kept on trying to fix the taste for her by adding cereal and then formula to help with the taste. Unfortunately, we ended up going to cereal and mashed banana's. She loved that! lol Maybe next time!
She has gotten to a point in her life where she is reaching for EVERYTHING. Right now I think its cute however I do know that, I will end up getting frustrated SOON. Its just cute how much she's developing her own personality! Hearing her laughter, her squeals of joy, her eyebrows have more personality than anything, and she's had those personality eyebrows since birth! She makes the funniest facial expressions, and once she sees what expression I make after her expression... she always smiles or laughs! Its like she tries to figure out "how can I make Mommy smile today" and she manages to find a way everyday!
You know honestly, when we found out we were pregnant with Madyson I was worried.. Financially worried... socially worried.. worried about what our friends would think because we literally just got married... But God knows more than I do and this was a true showing of that! Our friends have been MORE than supportive and they LOVE Madyson! On the day Madyson was born one of my closest friends said "thanks for the baby fever" which made me smile.. then a few months down the road.. another couple that we hang out regularly told us that they were expecting and due in May.. Talk about excitement! Its one thing to have a baby, but its another to know that your baby will have play mates! I would not change motherhood for anything! God is soooo good!

Day 16
Day 16: A picture of someone who inspires you.
If I had to pick one person that inspires me, it would probably my sister. She has 5 kids and they are all very close in age. She was constantly ridiculed about having children so close together. It was hard on her but I know she wouldn't change it for the world! She is very strong! Now that I am a mother of just one, I know it's has to be constant battle juggling 5 different kids with their schedules, school work, being a parent, and a wife! I have it pretty easy with one kid but I know having 5 does bring its challenges! I think she is an awesome mother! Sure she's had her days where she could pull her hair out, who doesn't? But in the end she manages to always put her children first!
Even though she has 5 children, and her husband travels to work so some weeks she by herself, she manages to be able to still be involved with Bailey and Jake's school. I believe she's on the PTO, AND is the head of the PTO... She has managed to find some great friends and a fantastic town which I know deep down it would be hard for her to leave. Madisonville, at first, was such a small town and Julie dreaded it. However now, she loves it and has created a community/family for her and her family! She has fantastic neighbors who help her so much!
Most of the time I think Julie puts to much on her plate at one time. She's always on the go, go, go. But honestly, I'm the same way! If we don't have something planned for the weekend, I'm making plans by Thursday night.. and when Sunday comes around I think... where did the weekend go? and why do I always plan something? I should just have a lazy weekend.. So I guess you could say Julie and I have a lot in common besides our voices!
She inspires me because she is able to juggle her life and can keep organized in her hectic lifestyle. Her kids love her and they are fantastic! She's a great mother which I hope I too will follow in her footsteps. I'm jealous of the community she has in Madisonville because in Elkton, I only know Marks' family.. I would love to find a way to have friends of my own like she has.

Day 15
Day 15: A picture of something you want to do before you die.
No this isn't me.. Unfortunately, but swimming with the dolphins is hand down, the one thing I would love to do before I die. Dolphins have always fascinate me. I could honestly watch them for hours! Normally I'm the one you have to pull away from the dolphins at Sea World or something to go look at other animals. I think they are beautiful and so smart! I am amazed by them. I have always wanted to swim with them. I could have done it on our honeymoon but it cost over 100 dollars for like 15 minutes. It was CRAZY expensive! Mark, I love him so much, he was very supportive in me doing it.. however I just couldn't spend the money on it. If I would have done that we wouldn't of had the money to go do something together, and it was our honeymoon the whole purpose is to do stuff together!
So hopefully the opportunity will arise again... So until then!
So hopefully the opportunity will arise again... So until then!
Day 14
Day 14: A picture of someone you could never imagine your life without.
I mean obviously it would be God... Because without God.. I mean lets be real.. I wouldn't exist! However, If I had to pick someone who has been there for me... someone who has picked me up when I was down... Someone who has impacted my life that much that, without them.. I would be lost... someone that God has put into my life purposely to help me.... That would definitely be, without a doubt this man right here:
I mean if you know me, you know that I am a HUGE Daddies girl! But in all honestly, my dad has always been there for me.. even when I've made horrible decisions in my life, he's been there to lend a shoulder to cry on.. sometimes he's even crying for me.. He's the sweetest man I know.. I am so blessed to have a Dad that loves me as much as he does! I love it how I'm never to old to sit on his lap... He always seems to know how to make me smile.. even when I'm down. I do not know one person who hasn't met him to not like my Dad. He's a lovable guy who anyone can count on. Without him in my life.. I know I wouldn't have been the lady I am today.
Day 13
Day 13: A picture of your favorite band or artist.
I have two.... I absolutely love Matt Maher! I think he has an awesome voice and I love his music! Not to mention I got to eat at the same table as him last year so I personally know how awesome he is!
My second choice is probably Rascal Flatts.. I love ALL of their music! Not to mention I've always wanted to go to one of their concerts however they always seem to get sold out and/or very expensive!!
I actually love all types of music! I love music in general. I guess thats why I was destined to marry a band nerd :D
If I got to pick a close third it would have been Brad Paisley! I've been to 2 of his concerts and I think all of his songs are very creative! He actually writes his own songs as well.. he's is so gifted in his music!

Day 12
Day 12: A picture of something you love.
This is a hard one considering I love ALOT of things.. But obviously the first thing that comes to mind is my loving husband and beautiful little girl! I love this picture I think its so funny.. Mark would kill me if he knew I posted this picture up lol I am very blessed and have many people in my life that I love and couldn't imagine life without them!
Day 11
Day 11: A picture of something you hate.
There are many things I hate... War, people being stupid and making stupid decisions, bad drivers.... and etc.. but I feel like thats a given because most of my friends hate the same things.. so I've been thinking.. "Whats something I hate thats unusual..." well its pumping.. I love nursing Mady however pumping I hate! I feel like I pump more than nurse actually which is probably why I dread it.
Its hard to keep up with also.. If I was a stay at home mom I know I wouldn't mind it because I'd probably only pump in the middle of the night because she sleeps all night long.. but since I have to pump at work.. its just a pain in the butt. Sneaking away... keeping up with it and all...
Sadly, I haven't been keeping up with it, because like I said.. Its a pain... So Madyson has been eating more formula than I'd like, however I think I have accepted it. I feel like a horrible mother like I'm quitting on Madyson... But thats not the case at all!! I find myself more frustrated with it all when it comes down to it....

Its hard to believe that Madyson is already 5 months! She is getting at such a fun age! She is starting to play with her toys, and she loves you reading to her! She has always been a delight to be around because she's one of the happiest babies I know.. she's always giggling, smiling, and I guess as the doctor would say, flirting haha
I really love giving Mady baths! She absolutely LOVES them.. She gets soo excited and laughs uncontrollably! I honestly would give her a bath every night, but with the weather being so dry I'm worried it'll dry out her skin more than it already is!
She's definitely a Momma's girl right now! Which I absolutely love! I can just look at her and she'll bust out laughing.. She'll raise her arms up to me and smile like, "come get me Momma!" and sometimes I just can't resist! I just feel bad for Mark, because she doesn't smile at him like she does to me. I'm afraid he feels ... "unloved" so hopefully she'll open up more to Daddy soon.
I tried uploading a video of Madyson playing however it either took to long or I have no idea what I'm doing haha.. so just follow this to go check it out!!

Day 10
Day 10: A picture of the person you do the most messed up/random things with.
Not sure if "messed" up is the correct term... But Amanda is someone I do the most random things with! When she comes to visit we always manage to find something to do without costing a dime! Which is awesome! From driving around Clarksville, trying to get lost and then trying to find our way back to where we were... to... Dancing at Kickers or the Wild Horse Salon.... to horseback riding adventures.... to road trips!
One of my favorite memories was when she moved to CO and we did a road trip! We stopped at St. Louis and went up in the arch and didn't care to stop along the way just to see what was out there! I really enjoyed it!
She is such a great friend! I could not imagine life without her! Her husband and my husband get along great too! They are able to handle our crazy randomness with eachother it seems! haha.. I miss seeing her as much as we used to however when we finally are together.. Its like we were never apart!

Day 9
Day 9: A picture of the person who has gotten you through the most.
This is probably my favorite picture of my sister! Its one of the first pictures of her and Madyson! She's such a proud Aunt!
This was a no brainer question. My sister is my rock! She has helped me more than she even knows! We weren't very close while growing up, however once I hit college Julie was always there for me. On the first day of college she drove over and showed me where everything was, which was BIG help... my first heartbreak, she called me and threatened to go beat the guy up, she invited me over for movie nights at her place while Bill was deployed... I didn't have to worry about crazy roommates because if there was a moment, Julie had a bed for me! She has helped me find a Clarksville family from the church through her friends...
I think Julie is a great sister and friend! I know I can count on her for anything.. there has been many times I've called her crying and by the end of the conversation I'm laughing and forgot what I was crying about.. She has always been my rock. I pray I can be a mother like her... STRONG. God has blessed me with a wonderful sister and I am so thankful for that!

Day 8: A picture that makes you laugh.
Day 8: A picture that makes you laugh.
Alot of pictures make me smile... so it was hard for me to choose just one. I ended up going through the pictures that people tagged me in and etc.. and I came across this picture from last year.
Our bunco group gets together once a month and we have a theme. This picture happened to be the 80's. Amanda was in town so she got to go to the 80's theme fun!
It was actually hard to just pick one bunco theme picture. We've had some funny themes from PJ's to white trash trailer park... Every night is full of laughs and fun! Although our group is never the appropriate number needed we still manage to have a fun filled night! The themes have gotten smaller but no worries, when its my time to have it again, I'll get a big theme together and hope everyone gets in to it! Theres just something about getting together with a bunch of your girlfriends for nothing but laughs!

Day 7: most treasured item
Most Treasured Item
Sounds cliche right? An Engagement ring? I mean lets be honest, of course Mady and Mark are my most treasured items in life... Or it could be our home.. but I feel like thats Mark and My most treasured item TOGETHER.. So I wanted to pick something that I look at and always smile... and that would be my engagement ring. I love it so much! I always look at it and smile because it reminds me how much Mark loves me! It's what started this fast pace roller coaster we are on called LIFE. I hate it that I can't wear it because of pregnancy weight and fingers are still getting smaller. It was probably a little tight on day one when I got it.. but I could get it on and off.. but now that I've had Madyson, its probably to tight for comfort so now I have to get it re-sized.. :( I wore it for a little while, but it made Mark nervous. Its probably the most expensive thing I own as well. It would devastate me if something happened to it! Once I get it re-sized, You'll see it back on my finger as clean as ever, and probably me looking at it a lot admiring it, because it always reminds me how loved I am and how blessed I am to have Mark.
Day 6: Trading places
A person you'd love to trade places with for a day
This is an extremely hard question.. Honestly, no one.. But I know that isn't any fun... So I know I have to pick someone. If I had to pick one person it honestly would be a toss up.... - I could pick someone famous with lots of money, just so I would know the fun of not worrying about money for a day, but.. I mean seriously.. Money isn't everything..
- I could pick my sister to see what its like to be a stay at home mom with 5 little ones, but honestly, she'd let me live her life any day....
- I thought about my dogs... just to see what it would feel like to not be able to talk to people, see how they honestly feel with Madyson in the picture now, how it would feel to sleep all day, and how I would feel if my owner didn't play with me.. and etc... but it says a person.. so moving on
- I thought about Mark.. About being him for a day.. Going to his work, working with a bunch of guys and hear the girl trash talk, just to see what the guys say about their wives and girlfriends.. haha.... See what he does at work exactly, how he feels when I talk about things that Mady did.. If he gets upset he wasn't there to witness it... Does he get disappointed but keeps it covered up? but I feel that's kind of boring because he normally tells me everything that happens at work and we are both so open to each other that I probably wouldn't enjoy it as much I thought I would..
- so I guess if I had to pick anyone, I would choose Mady. Mostly because I want to know what she's thinking. The reasons she hates tummy time or the reason she cries for no reason it seems to me. Sometimes she gets into a crying fit and I have to get up and walk around the house and she just stops. I know she wasn't hungry or sleepy, and she didn't hurt herself. She was playing nicely then out of no where she was upset. Or why she fights to be put to sleep sometimes. I think if I could live a day of her life, I would be a better parent and understand fully why she sometimes does the things she does. Like laugh at the simple things in life that I over look. It would give me a new prospective in life I believe.
Day 5: Favorite Memory
Favorite Memory
I sat and thought about this question over the weekend. I thought of my wedding and how much fun I had and that everything went perfect! However, I kept looking at Madyson and how much she's grown. Its amazing how much a baby grows within 5 months! She's smiling, giggling, playing on her own, and now starting to eat baby food. Although the contractions and pain was awful, I would have to say August 30th, 2010 was probably the best thing that has ever happened to me and my favorite memory!
Holding that little girl is such a blessing! She brightens my mood every day! I love when strangers stop and talk to her and she gets to giggling and they comment on how beautiful she is.. Madyson is the greatest thing thats ever happened to me! And me having Madyson is the greatest thing I've ever done. In this picture its one of the first pictures of me holding Madyson. It was after the family had left and it was just a moment of me and her together. What a remarkable feeling you get when you hold the baby that you've been bonding with privately for 9 months! I couldn't keep my eyes off of her. I still to this day, love watching her!
It was a long, painful day.. the day she was born, however so worth it! My heart has gotten so much bigger ever since she has graced Mark and me with her beautiful smile! The Lord is so generous in giving me such a wonderful gift to show the world.

Day 4: A picture of your night.
Our Night
This is a picture of Madyson and one of our dogs Maverick. Our nights consist of mostly enjoying our time with Madyson. Mark doesn't get alot of time with her so typically a night consists of her talking and giggling to him, while he "eats" her toes! lol We love hearing her laugh. Right now she is in love with the dogs! She will stare at them and if they even look at her she cracks up laughing! Its the cutest thing ever!
As you can see in this picture Madyson is already laughing at Daisy. Thats her nose in the corner. Daisy is always trying to lick/kiss Madyson. I was afraid Daisy wouldn't take to Madyson however, I believe Daisy is very protective of her. Marks aunt came over to babysit Madyson one night and she brought her puppy, its a shih tzu and her name is Muffin. Muffin was constantly trying to get to Madyson but Daisy kept getting in between Madyson and Muffin and would not let Muffin near Madyson. Which I was glad to hear that.
So yeah our nights aren't all that exciting... however when it comes to the weekend, it seems we are always on the go! Grocery Shopping, the Church Youth Group, date nights with friends, band competitions of Marks little sister, and etc... but during the weekdays.. we typically just get in PJ's and enjoy our time together!

Day 3: TV Show
I must say I am a HUGE TV bug! Sad I know.. However, recently I've gotten into a new show called No Ordinary Family. Mark and I have our weekly shows that we watch and thank goodness for DVR. Its actually quite sad that we have so many TV shows that we watch and keep up with... However I think its that we enjoy our down time together lying in the living room and unwinding by just watching TV.
No Ordinary Family just started this past fall and I've enjoyed watching it a lot! Its a show about a family who got into a plane accident and out of no where have magical powers. Jim (the dad) has super strength, Stephanie (the mom) has super speed, Daphne (the daughter) can hear and see peoples thoughts, and J.J. (the son) has a super brain genius thing going on. The are trying to go on with their normal lives however they are just now realizing that other people have powers too.
Okay I might have explained that show boringly.. but I enjoy it! I guess I like the whole super power idea. If I had to pick any super power, it would probably be invisibility. lol I think that would be neat... Either that or.... maybe being able to lift things with my mind.. however then I would be WAY to lazy lol so I'd pick the invisible thing over everything else.

Day 2: Close and Longest friend
Day 2: A picture of you and the person you have been close with for the longest
When I was first asked this question I couldn't think of a friend that I have known the longest vs the closeness... I have had friends that I've known for a very long time, however throughout the years the closeness fades away. So I couldn't think of any one else better for this subject other than my Mom.
Growing up I had friends that would tell me that their best friend was their Mom. I remember thinking, how strange... But now look at me.. I guess I have developed into one of those strange friends I met when I was young. I wouldn't have it any other way either.
My Mom has always been a mother that I could come to no matter what. Whether it was being stressed out about a test, boys, friends, or just plain ol' having a sad moment in life. She was one who always had an open shoulder for me to cry on or even open arms to hug. I remember growing up I would always sit on the counter in the kitchen and we would spend hours just talking about life.
Yeah, Mom and me have had our moments where we weren't agreeing with one another. However, we have always managed to get through it together.
If it wasn't for my Mom I wouldn't be the person I am today. She taught me right from wrong, how to pray, how to put others before myself and etc... She is a strong, faithful, remarkable mother. I hope that I too will be like her while raising Madyson. That Madyson and I will grow up not only as daughter and Mother.. but as friends that can count on each other.
I LOVE YOU MOM!

Day 1: 15 facts
DAY 1: A picture of yourself with 15 facts
- I am truly blessed. I have wonderful parents who taught me right from wrong, and showed me that no matter what to trust God and put him first. I have very supportive siblings, no matter how deep the hole I am in, they are there to help pull me out. I have a wonderful husband who supports me 100%. I married into a wonderful and loving family! I have a beautiful 4 ½ month old who can ALWAYS put a smile on my face no matter the circumstance. I am 100% blessed. I couldn’t imagine life getting any better, but I know it will!
- I live in a very small town! The total population is 1,984 at the 2000 census. Its soo small there is only one light in the entire county! It is extremely hard to meet new people. The only people I know is people that are either related to Mark, or Mark's friends. I'm DYING to find a way to meet my own friends in this county.. however, it looks like Clarksville is my only stomping ground for right now.. :(
- I am an Alpha Delta Pi. Being in a sorority has showed me how to be a leader and how to enjoy my college days. I love all my sorority sisters, and being in this sorority I have made many friends who I have been with me through thick and thin! VTY b/c OBIC sisters!
- I LOVE Mexican food. The first thing I have to order is the Queso dip. I believe I could eat that by the gallon. I believe I could eat Mexican every day and be a fat and happy girl!
- I am a facebook addict. I can’t help but to get on it every day and see what’s everyone doing or what’s on my friends mind for the day. I love looking through photos that have nothing to do with me. Whether it is wedding pictures, baby pictures, or a fun night out with friends. I am always trying to figure out a funny status update that might put a smile on my friend’s faces.
- I am organized. My sister calls me anal. However, I find it to be a good thing. I hate clutter. I’m not OCD or anything. I don’t mind shoes in the middle of the living room… or mail piling up. It’s more that a blanket isn’t folded on the couch… or clothes lying on the floor. Yes, they can lie on a chair and I’m fine, but when clothes are on the floor… it bugs me... The bad thing is, is that my husband is WORSE than me. He’s one who’s side of the closet is so organized if you put something out of place (like a long sleeve shirt in the short sleeve place) he has to say something about it. He’s probably the reason I’m more organized than I used to be.
- I am a youth minister for high school teens at my church… I really enjoy it! However, now that I have a baby, its really tiring me out! We have our weekly meetings on Sunday nights and Mady should already be in PJs and in bed by the time we get out. It also makes nursing extremely hard… However, I have some great volunteers who help me with it so I am blessed as well.
- Sadly, the other day I had to cut off my wedding band. It has been bugging me like crazy that ever since I was pregnant I haven’t been able to wear my wedding rings. My engagement ring fit snuggly… so I thought well if I can wear my engagement ring, I should be able to wear my wedding band, I mean they are the same size right!? Wrong… I wore it fine throughout the day however I never sleep in my rings… except for Saturday night which was the wrong move. Sunday morning I could not get my wedding band off. My brother-in-law ended up cutting it off.. my finger was blistered from it being so tight… L I was so embarrassed.. but I guess it’ll just push me to go get it resized now won’t it?
- This February Mark and I will be together for 6 years! Its hard to believe that time has flown by that fast! It seems that once you graduate high school time just FLIES by! I mean you graduate, go to college, get married and then have a baby. Its just a blink of any eye and poof- its all gone!
- I love hearing Mady giggle. On day one it seemed like Madyson was very alert. She had her eyes wide open (with her HUGE eyes as everyone says). So it is very easy to get this giggling girl on a roll. Her whole face lights up and sometimes tears roll down her cheeks from laughing so hard. I can’t help but crack up myself!
- I work for an attorney. Sometimes I feel like I don’t get paid enough, but its only a part time job and its extremely easy! I really enjoy it. I only work around 5 hours a day and then I get to spend the rest of the day giggling with Mady. If I had to work, I would definitely keep the job that I have. It isn’t stressful and I don’t take the work home with me!
- I would love to be a stay at home mom. Unfortunately Mark and I can’t really afford that. Sometimes I think to myself, I would be so bored. And honestly I probably would. However, I now have a two cousin-in-laws who just had a baby and I believe if I didn’t work, I would hang out with them more often for play dates. Before hand I didn’t have anyone to hang out with really, but now it seems like our options are opening up. Maybe if its God’s will, by our next baby we will be able for me to be a stay at home mom.
- I have a great sitter for Madyson when I’m at work. Mark’s mom comes and picks up Mady in the morning and I pick Mady up when I get off work. It’s a wonderful system! I still manage to be late most of the work days because I like to play with Mady while she’s awake because she likes to sleep A LOT. I am so blessed to have free childcare! Daycare’s are SO expensive!!! I know that Mark’s mom loves the time she gets to spend with her Grand-daughter as well!
- I love new electronically toys. I guess I’m a big kid when it comes to new technology. I like to play with it and sometimes end up wanting them. For instance, I would love to have the Ipod Touch… However, now I realize that our phones are for upgrade, so now I want the Iphone badly. Do I need a phone with internet and etc...? NO! However I want it... I enjoy playing on game systems, from the WII to the DS… Sadly, I own the WII and like playing it, however not by myself. Mark and I used to play it all the time… but it seems like its more collecting dust than anything, which is why it’s a horrible habit of mine that I want new gadgets! Lol
- My favorite drink is probably water. Not tap water though… Bottled or filtered. And it has to be cold. If that isn’t available, then I normally go for a Dr. Pepper. I do not like Sweet Tea. Mark wonders how I could be raised in the South and not like sweet tea. I believe it’s from growing up. Every meal, as a family, we always drank water with our meal. I mean I drink Orange Juice or Milk in the morning, however throughout the day… A good tall glass of cold water is what makes I prefer.
